The Norwood Lateral follows that route and it crosses Reading Road at the location of the rapid transit bridge. However, the Lateral continues southeastward from there and crosses Ross Avenue at the B&O tracks. The rapid transit route east of Reading is now just a fence line along the north and east side of the Mercy Health (former Showcase Cinemas) parking lot. Note the entrance to the Section Avenue tunnel at the bottom right.
