Miami & Erie Canal route through Monroe Bicentennial Commons, formerly LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park, looking northeast towards the entrance. The former CH&D Railroad is on the right. The canal ran basically down the center of the photo. The lake was a former ice pond adjacent to the canal. There's no grading left that shows evidence of the canal.
