CL&A car #50 is near the Mount Saint Joseph station in January 1913 during an Ohio River flood. The catastrophic flood of that year wasn't until the fourth week of March, but prior heavy weather such as pictured here led to saturated conditions that worsened the later flood. The Big Four and B&O tracks to the left are underwater.
