The now demolished Shortway Bridge crossing the Licking River between Covington and Newport, looking east. This narrow two-lane bridge once carried streetcars, and there are still some poles visible. Also note the extra structure that supported the weight of the tracks. The new bridge to the left has since replaced this one.
