Location of Pennsylvania/Little Miami Railroad yards in the parking lot for Sawyer Point, looking east. It's a shame that the old retaining wall shown in the next few photos is now gone, as one more remnant of the site's railroad history is removed. The new wall is made up of large poured concrete blocks with a similar shape and texture to the sandstone blocks used by the railroad here and a few miles east. It's a suitable gesture to the site's history, but it would be better had they used warmer orange/brown colored concrete to better match the original stone.
