N&W Hyde Park Branch line over Wooster Pike at the Fairfax/Mariemont border, looking south. The bridge span dates to 1924, but the stone abutments are similar to others dating from roughly the 1880's to the first decade of the 20th century. Prior to construction of Columbia Parkway and its extension into Fairfax, this was the primary route from Cincinnati to Fairfax, Mariemont, Terrace Park, Milford, and beyond.
