Street Lights, Poles, & Traffic Signals
0003_TrolleyPoles-1
A typical downtown trolley pole, looking at the southeast corner of Court and Race Streets. This is one busy pole. It is supporting electric wires, an old stop light on a pole with guy-wires, an old street light, road signs, and newer crosswalk signals. Further south into downtown most of the trolley poles have been removed, but north of 7th or 8th Streets several of the old ones remain. As of 2019, the old enamel Race Street sign has been lost, but everything else remains with a new coat of black paint.
