Historic photo of the Cincinnati Waterworks and IR&T in California, looking northwest across Kellogg Avenue from near Apple Hill Road. The IR&T line can be seen at the bottom along the inbound side of Kellogg. The stretch west of Coney Island was double-tracked, since it carried both the Suburban Traction and Cincinnati & Eastern lines, as well as the traffic to the amusement park. The second track can just barely be seen behind the grass and the hillside at the bottom of the picture. Since it looks like the roadway and the IR&T are still undergoing some construction, this photo probably dates from about 1901 to 1906.
