Cincinnati Western Railroad tunnel spoils below Faraday Road, looking southeast towards Millvale and Camp Washington. The tree covered hill on the right is a good 20 to 30 feet high and is made up of unconsolidated excavated shale, limestone, and clay from the tunnel excavation. It is likely the company would have built a trestle down the rest of the slope to the Mill Creek Valley below.
