Historic photo of a former interurban car on Madison Road in East Walnut Hills, looking east towards O'Bryonville. The extra headlamp is a giveaway that this was a former interurban car. Although this was basically the same as the lightweight cars built for the CM&B this one was actually built for the Maumee Valley in 1923. That company ran between Toledo, Perrysburg, Maumee, and Rossford and was purchased by Lawrence Van Ness for the power distribution system in 1926 and the railroad was scrapped. The cars were returned to the Cincinnati Car Company and five were resold to the Cincinnati Street Railway, numbered 2503-2507.
