Historic photo of a PRR/CL&N freight switcher on Eggleston Avenue, looking southeast towards the 5th Street Viaduct ca. 1939. The viaduct and the warehouse just barely seen on the right beyond it are the only structures in this photo that remain today. The PRR station is just barely visible as a horizontal line in the distance. This industrial switching track was also the main connection between the C&LN and its Pennsylvania Railroad parent.
