False canal bed along Dixie Avenue north of Miamisburg, looking south from the north city limits. Although this has roughly the correct dimensions and alignment of the canal, it is actually to the left of the road in the woods. The berm and recreational path at the right is a later alignment and grading of the Ohio Electric Railway dating to 1908 when they moved their tracks off the highway.
