Historic photo of CL&A car 920 at Wilkens Short Road in 1930. A single rail of the Big Four is at the extreme bottom left. The houses which remain today on River Road were originally on Nokomis Avenue. When the CL&A removed its tracks from Gracely Drive to this private right-of-way, they wedged them into the small strip of land between Nokomis and the Big Four.
