Exposed limestone beds on the Cincinnati & Westwood right-of-way. This shows how easy it is to quarry this local Ordovician limestone, as it's already broken up into decent size pieces. These stones, which are exposed all around the City's hilltop communities, and was used extensively for foundation and retaining walls, is loaded with brachiopod, bryozoan, and criniod fossils.
