Streetcar Routes & Revealed Tracks
0008_January26_1937
Historic aerial of the Mill Creek Valley during the flood of 1937, looking north along Spring Grove Avenue. Chester Park is at the bottom left with the CH&D running behind it. The Cincinnati Car Company buildings at Spring Grove and Mitchell are to the right of Chester Park. The B&O Midland starts at the bottom center and goes to the right center, with the Big Four splitting off from it there and heading back towards the top of the photo. The Winton Shops of the Cincinnati Street Railway are at the bottom right, and the P&G Ivorydale plant is in the near distance, with its extensive rail yard between it and Elmwood Place in the background.
