Newport Southbank (Purple People, formerly L&N Railroad) Bridge approach, looking south. The L&N connected with the PRR/Little Miami Railroad terminal behind this location. The rail portion of the L&N Bridge has been abandoned since the 1980s, and the rest has been converted to a pedestrian-only bridge. This steel support was for the rail approach trestle which was removed.
