C&W - Cincinnati & Westwood Railroad
0013_IMG
Historic photo of the Cincinnati & Westwood trestle over White Street, looking west. Note the concrete retaining wall at the bottom left that remains today, as well as the stone abutment at the right, of which about half remains today. A gasoline powered railcar is crossing the trestle, which was the only functioning rolling stock of the railroad in its last decades. This car was used for inspections and repair trips, and to maintain the railroad's status as operational. From "On the Right Track: Some Historic Cincinnati Railroads" by John H. White, Jr., Cincinnati Enquirer photo.
